When you get your money back

If we cannot produce your report, you get your money back. If we produce it and something in it is wrong, tell us within 7 days and we fix it or refund it. Plans can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the period already paid for.

Refunded in full when we cannot produce a report: the file is a scanned image with no readable text and you would rather not wait for a manual read, the file is not a Form 990 of any kind, the analysis fails and we cannot recover it, or you paid twice for the same return.

Wrong form. If you paid for the 990-EZ review and the file is a full Form 990 or a 990-PF, we hold it before any work starts and offer two choices: move it to the full review, in which case we refund the EZ payment once the full review is paid, or take a full refund of the EZ price. If you paid for the full review and the file is a 990-EZ, we run it and refund the difference on request.

After release. Once a report is released you have the work you paid for, so a refund is not automatic. If a figure is misread, a section is missing, or the report does not match the return you sent, reply on your report page or email us within 7 days. A CPA will look, and we will correct and reissue the report or refund the order, whichever you prefer.

A report you disagree with is not the same as a report that is wrong. The report describes what the return shows; if the return shows a low program ratio, the report will say so.

A board pack is a yearly plan. Cancel the renewal at any time from your portal or by email; the current year runs to its end and nothing more is charged. If you cancel within 14 days of paying and no draft or filed return has been sent in under the pack, the year is refunded in full. After a return has been sent in, the year is not refunded, because the review work has begun.

If we cannot deliver one of the pack's four items, we make it right or refund a fair share of the year's price for that item.

The firm plan is a monthly subscription. Cancel at any time from your portal or by email and the plan ends at the close of the month already paid for. Months already started are not refunded, and extra reports past the 15 included are charged for the month in which they were sent. Reports that fail for reasons on our side do not count against your 15 and are not charged as extras.

Refunds go back to the account or card you paid with, through PayPal or Stripe, and usually appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank. We confirm by email when a refund is issued. If you paid by invoice rather than card, we refund by the method you paid with.

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your card issuer. A dispute freezes the payment for weeks; an email to rolanda@rsmcduffiecpa.com is usually resolved the same day.
